Introducing the Knowledge Graph & AI Hub

The landscape of AI and knowledge graphs is evolving at lightning speed—and so is the need for connection, collaboration and continuous learning. At metaphacts, we believe that innovation thrives when bright minds come together to share ideas, ask questions and explore new possibilities.

That’s why we’re proud to announce our plans for the Knowledge Graph & AI Hub, a global community building on our existing network of friends, collaborators and innovators across the semantic tech and AI ecosystem.

Many of you we’ve already had the pleasure of meeting at various conferences, events or may even have collaborated on projects, and we realized it was a good time to invite you to join us on a regular basis to geek out on a topic we’re all passionate about. For those we haven’t met yet, we’re excited to get to know you! Our ambition is that this is more than just a space to talk about technology—we’re aiming to create a shared place where we can help shape the future of knowledge-driven AI together with you and others who share the same passion and vision.

We’re especially excited to build on the tradition in the larger knowledge-architecture community of bridging industry application and research across the larger community of experts and enthusiasts. Whether you’re a researcher, knowledge graph expert, business leader or simply interested in the future of knowledge graphs and AI, we’re hoping you’ll join us in  conversations that span real-world use cases and academic advancement, continuing to develop this  important space where theory meets practice.

Why we’re creating the Knowledge Graph & AI Hub

Empowering a global network

We’re proud to be a long-standing member of the  global community of  professionals, researchers and enthusiasts working with knowledge graphs and A. Our goal is to work with our peers to help connect even more people across industries, disciplines and borders, nurturing, supporting, and contributing to this  trusted environment where ideas flow freely and collaborations happen organically.

We’re adding to our existing community contributions a new series of meetups around knowledge graphs and AI. Starting  with in-person events in Germany (where we are based), we’ll soon add hybrid in-person/virtual sessions and regional events beyond Germany to include as many people as possible.

Advocating for knowledge graphs in modern enterprises

Knowledge graphs are no longer niche—they’re foundational. Organizations from all industries are increasingly becoming aware of the benefits of knowledge graphs as the base for all enterprise data systems, alongside its ability to power diverse AI applications. From powering intelligent search to enabling explainable AI, they’re shaping the next generation of applications. We’re aiming to make our Knowledge and AI  Hub an important node in the broader intelligent-data ecosystem.

Supporting lifelong learning

Whether you’re advancing enterprise AI initiatives or just beginning to explore semantic technologies, we  want to  support your journey. Our Resource Hub  is already full of expertly curated tools, tutorials and best practices—all designed to help you learn, grow and contribute—and we’ll continue to create and collect these resources for you.

Encouraging open collaboration

We love to showcase what’s possible when ideas meet execution. That means highlighting real-world applications, research breakthroughs and community-led projects. When we see community dialogue and co-creation driving discovery and innovation, we’ll showcase it in our Hub.

Our community values

Whether it’s smart data on the open Web or within enterprise networks, the Knowledge Graph & AI Hub is a space to connect, contribute and collaborate. At the heart of it are our shared values:

  • 🤝 Collaboration – We support, uplift and grow together

  • 🌿 Growth – A place to learn, share and evolve

  • 💬 Authenticity – A judgment-free zone where you can be you

  • 💛 Inclusivity – A welcoming space for everyone, no matter their background

We’re committed to maintaining a respectful and inspiring environment for all members. At our gatherings and events, our priority is to ensure a safe, supportive and enriching experience, so we expect everyone who participates  to follow our Code of Conduct.

What you can expect

The Knowledge Graph & AI Hub is an evolving community we’re designing  to bring people together around shared interests in AI and knowledge graphs. Here’s what we’re planning:

  • Meet-ups & events
Engage in virtual and in-person sessions featuring expert talks and panels, collaborative workshops and deep-dive demos.

  • Collaborations with other communities
The Knowledge Graph & AI Hub is built on the belief that meaningful progress happens through connection and shared effort. We’re already active participants in the larger community, but we’re committed to fostering even more open collaborations that expand access to knowledge, amplify diverse voices and strengthen the broader ecosystem.

We’re proud to support the Knowledge Graph Community community and work alongside researchers, practitioners and organizations exploring the future of knowledge-based systems. Recent collaborations include contributions to EU-funded research projects like Graph-Massivizer, KompAKI, and SMARTY which focus on scalable graph processing, sustainability, and human-centered AI.

We look forward to growing this network through continued collaboration—and we welcome ideas, contributions and partnerships from across the community!

  • Opportunities to contribute
If you’d like to share your research, host sessions, publish tutorials or start community discussions, let us know—we’re happy to offer the Hub as a place to share and amplify your contributions to the community.

Powered by metaphacts, shaped by you

At metaphacts, we’ve spent years helping organizations unlock the power of knowledge graphs and semantic AI. We’re a semantic and AI company delivering innovative solutions that help global enterprises transform data into consumable, contextual and actionable knowledge. Our work supports customers across a range of industries and use cases—from building semantic layers for enterprise architectures to creating digital twins and developing trustworthy AI applications for knowledge discovery.

We're proud to bring that experience into the Knowledge Graph & AI Hub—but we’re not here to take center stage. This community belongs to you.

We’ll contribute insights, tools and learning opportunities to help the conversation move forward, but we also hope you’ll want to take part in helping build this community—from attending events or contributing to the meetups. We believe in a community-first approach where leadership is shared and everyone’s voice matters.
